Are there any kind of photography left today which digital cameras are still in the disadvantage to film cameras?
What DPI do I need to use when scanning a 35mm to get an equivalent of say 8 MegaPixel digital photo
Other equivalents are welcome as well. I want this information to know what scanners I need to look at or at least to have the ability to determine if a scanning service will suffice my needs.
I'm shooting 3-perf 35mm @ 24 fps. How many feet of film do I need if I'm shooting one hour? Is there a good site/app for calculating this?
In this day and age, do 35mm film cameras have any advantages over high-end digital cameras? I am thinking mostly about image quality, but sure, other aspects are interesting, too.
Now that we are moving to the digital world... What is the best negative scanner for the price range of up to $400
