If image I change an image from 72dpi to 300dpi, can I scale it up size without losing quality? [duplicate]
Title says it all. When I change my image from 72dpi to 300dpi, the image gets smaller. Can I scale the image back up and print it out at 300dpi without sacrificing quality?
Having an photo of 4000x3000 resolution with 240ppi. Is it possible get a resolution of 400x300 resolution but with higher ppi?If possible how to do that?
And my apologies if this sounds a bit too basic but I can't get my head around this. I have a digital image I took with my camera. 4000x3000 pixels, and GIMP claims that its resolution is 72x72 DPI. ...
