Why are some of my pictures missing from the normally all-inclusive Photos folder in my Apple Aperture library?
In Apple Aperture, there are a few unchangeable locations in your library:
Projects
Photos
Faces
Places
Etc.
And their purpose is pre-defined by the app, so "Photos" should always show all the ...

How to remove duplicate masters in Aperture?
There are many photos in my Aperture library that have two masters, each one jpeg and one raw. I'd like to delete one of both, but I didn't even found a way of splitting them.
