I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX50V that can create 3D photos to be viewed on a 3D TV. I want to be able to view them on my computer as anaglyph picture. I tried the XStereO app on the Mac but the pictures didn't show a 3D effect. Is there any other software that will work with Sony's MPO format?

I don't know of any viewers that will do it, but there are several converters, like this one. An MPO is just two JPEGs in one file, and I'd bet that single-screen viewers simply extract one of the JPEGs so you can see what the picture is. –  user2719 Jul 14 '13 at 20:37

Stereo Photo Maker could do the trick : http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/
