I don't yet have a HDMI mini cable, so I couldn't test it myself and have to ask:

When using the HDMI out of the Lumix DMC-TZ10, can I only watch recorded stuff or can I also see the image the camera currently sees? Or will the lense be automatically closed like when using the USB connection?

In case I can see the live image, does anyone know if the automatic standby is disabled, so I could make recordings longer than the internal 30 minutes recording limit of the Lumix DMC-TZ10?
