I am looking at buying Lightroom mostly for organizing my stock. I current have photoshop and an open software called for editing. I photograph nature and wildlife. Any ideas on what presets would work well or shortcuts i should consider? Also, I have a pen/ tablet that is able to save macro buttons

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

What is the question here? If Lightroom is worth buyin or how can it speed up your job? In both cases it seems a bit too vague to give a senseful answer. – Paolo Mar 6 '12 at 15:24
Question is vague, however, consider Photoshop if you to control everything and do low level editing. Lightroom is excellent for retouching but doesn't have all Photoshop feature (because it's cheaper), for example it won't let you select specific pixels and add it to other image. – akram Mar 6 '12 at 19:19

If you look in our Photoshop FAQ, there are some good links - you'll probably find your question has been asked and answered before. Particularly:
