I'm planning to buy a camera and I've been looking at all the different kinds of cameras available. So here's my dilemma: I'm more into film making than photography (did a few amateur videos with 'normal' cameras and stuff I could get my hands on).
DSLR is very expensive and I don't really want control on shutter speed, etc - I want to make good videos - not photographs.
So one day, I found the GoPro series of cameras. They shoot 720p at 60fps. The quality looks decent based on youtube videos and reviews. They're quite rugged as well and work underwater too. And they cost around $300. Should I get these? Should I get a DSLR? Are there better alternatives?
