I'm a big fan of the Canon PowerShot S95. It's currently around $400. For a compact, it's got the same processor as a lot of the bigger Canon cameras (Digic 4). It has P, AV, TV and M modes. Shoots RAW. 10 MP Sensor. And it has a control ring around the lens, that you can set to control almost any setting. The reason why I prefer it over the G12 is because it's nice and small. Perfect to carry around all the time. I also have a DSLR for anything else. |
