Photography Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for professional, enthusiast and amateur photographers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a huey color one and i can only color calibrate one monitor with one color profile.

How do you save different color profiles for each monitor?

My computer runs on Windows 7 and i use 2 monitors.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see why this has been downvoted? Certainly a comment would be in order - preferably explaining to @Chris how he could improve the question and/or pose better questions in future? (in point of fact, I have been wondering the same thing!) Anyone? –  AJ Finch May 31 '11 at 11:30

I think the post would be better on superuser.com. I know color calibration is important to photography but this is really a Windows software question. –  mattdm May 31 '11 at 14:24

The Stack Exchange system has recently been change to encourage more question downvotes (there is no longer a reputation cost to doing so). What we're seeing (more casual downvotes) is a natural consequence of that, for better or for worse. –  mattdm May 31 '11 at 14:37

Color profiles and color management seems absolutely on topic for photography to me. We don't all shoot B&W exclusively right? –  dpollitt Jun 17 '11 at 20:42

You have to make the calibration program make a separate profile for each monitor. Depending on how the program works you either select the monitor in the program, or you might have to make the other monitor the main display to make the program profile it.

In Color Management in the control panel you can select which profiles are associated to which monitor. Your utility should then use that to determine which profile to use for each montior.
